Job Summary

Core-in-charge of respective store, enable to supervise, lead and motivate retail team at store in daily basis.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Ensure smooth running of daily operations (planning of roster, performance of staff, coaching, merchandise display, etc)
  • Achieve Monthly sales/product/membership targets, drive sales and increase customer database & flow
  • Provide briefings to team on information disseminated from various departments
  • Guide and train new Beauty Advisors assigned to Store for OTJ training
  • Maintains good conduct, complies with instructions, policies and regulations
  • Guide and train new Beauty Advisors assigned to Store for OTJ training
  • Core-in-charge of all fixtures and fittings of all allocated stores. Ensuring all fixtures and fittings are in working conditions at all times
  • Collection of dayend reports, check and compile all reports before submitting to Management
  • Accountable for cash till and shop opening and closing
  • Compilation of Samples & GWPs order requests. Ensure ordered QTY are 100% correct before submission to Logistics Team
  • Check & tally Shopping Mall vouchers for reimbursement and submit to Marketing & Finance Team respectively,
  • Collection of all administration paper works (Staff Medical Certificate, Dayend and etc) before submission to Management
  • Prepare monthly timesheet for all Full, Part-timers. Ensure all timesheet are accurate before submission
  • Interviewing of part time candidates for Beauty Advisor before submission for final approval from Area Manager
  • Provide training to new staff on POS/web POS system
  • Manpower control (rostering). Ensure sufficient manpower at stores/outlets at all time
  • Review Beauty Advisor’s ability and performance. Feedback to Area Manager
  • Track and update staff leaves (annual, medical, unpaid, childcare, marriage etc.)
  • Ensure Brand image is always strictly adhere according to guidelines given for Beauty Advisor
  • Ensure Brand image is always strictly adhere according to guidelines given for stores/outlets
  • Setting up of NEW stores/outlets as and when required
  • Manage customers’ feedback & complaints
  • Any other adhoc tasks as assigned whenever required

Key Experience and Skills

Qualification and Experience

  • Diploma / GCE O Level
  • Minimum 4 years of retail sales experience with 1 year in similar capacity, preferably in the beauty industry
  • Supervisory experience in managing a team
  • Proven sales track record

Skill Sets

  • Experience with POS and cashiering in store
