Amorepacific's contemporary beauty brand, HERA, participated as the official makeup sponsor for the GQ Bowl Thom Browne Fall 2026 collection show, held on February 6th (local time) at the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco, USA.
This year's GQ Bowl was the premier fashion event of Super Bowl LX week, drawing significant acclaim as Thom Browne, a paragon of American fashion, presented a theatrical runway inspired by Dante's Inferno, masterfully blending art, sport, and fashion.
The makeup direction for the show was orchestrated by Aaron De Mey, a world-renowned makeup artist with a long and storied career in the global fashion industry. De Mey, drawing inspiration from the iconic sculptures of Rodin, sought to express a mystical beauty as if the sculptures themselves had come to life, utilizing HERA products as the critical tools for this artistic expression.
Backstage, HERA's iconic 'Black Cushion Foundation' was used as the centerpiece to evoke a flawless, smooth, blur-satin skin reminiscent of a sculpted masterpiece. The key makeup highlight, 'Bronze Glitter Lips,' was brought to life by layering bronze glitter upon the lips, then adding the 'Sensual Nude Gloss' to impart a three-dimensional luster, thus completing an organic high-fashion vibe.
A HERA representative stated, "Through this collaboration with Thom Browne, a leading symbol of American fashion, and the world-class artist Aaron De Mey, we have once again demonstrated the perfection and sensibility of HERA's products on the global stage." They added, "Moving forward, we will continue to expand HERA's unique beauty identity through collaborations with premier global fashion runways and a diverse array of artists."
HERA will continue to release exclusive content capturing the makeup application process and backstage moments from the GQ Bowl Thom Browne show through the brand's official Instagram and TikTok channels.
