Amorepacific Corporation named the most admired company in Korea

The KMAC(Korea Management Association Consulting)’s 2016 survey on Korea’s most admired companies has announced on February 24 that Amorepacific Corporation (CEO Suh Kyung-bae) ranked top in All Star Category and Cosmetics Sector.

Now in its 13th year, the survey has been carried out annually by the KMAC to help promote good social and economic role-models within the corporate sector that are particularly worthy of trust and respect.

The survey was conducted on 7,120 executives, 230 analysts working for stock companies and 4,560 customers from September to December 2015 to evaluate companies according to six criteria: innovation, shareholder value, employee value, customer value, social value and brand image. February 24 saw the results of the All Star category announced, which was for the list of the top 30 companies and the top companies in each individual business sector.

Amorepacific Corporation scored higher than others in all the six criteria and occupied the first place in the All Star Category and Cosmetics Sector. It was especially highly praised for its advanced trend-leading technology, its ability to continually innovate, its range of customer-centered services including Beautysumer and night customer service on weekdays, and the significant social contribution it has achieved through ongoing CSR programs.

Since it opened a new chapter in the history of customer service with a declaration of the doctrine of unlimited responsibility to eliminate the possible cause of customer complaints and wholly fulfill the needs of customers in 1993, Amorepacific Corporation has pushed forward with shared growth initiatives and CSR programs such as Makeup Your Life and Pink Ribbon Campaign to fulfill its social responsibility as a corporate citizen much loved by customers.
