AMOREPACIFIC, VISON PROCLAMATION FOR YEAR 2015

AMOREPACIFIC (President Kyung Bae Seo) suggested VISION FOR YEAR 2015 as “Global Total-care Provider of Beauty & Health for Customers.” The Vision Proclamation Ceremony was held at the head office (located at Yongsan) while President Kyung Bae Seo, managers and staffs were attending. AMOREPACIFIC assured that it would concentrate all the competitive power on ‘beauty business’ and ‘health business’ in which each business’ vision was presented; “Growth of entering into Top 10 Cosmetic Company in the world with rearing of 10 mega brands” for Beauty Business Vision and “Development as a leading company in the field of health and beauty food with rearing of 3 mega brands” for Health Business Vision. (Mega brand implies a most highly valued brand in relevant business field with the sales more than 100 million dollars.) The representative key word reigning 10 years afterward may be ‘well-being,’ which seems very connected with the business of AMOREPACIFIC in terms of the value being unable to exist without beauty and health. Especially in the reality, where integration of those two areas has been sped up, the enterprise satisfying customers’ expectation will be successful with the general approach (total care) through products and service. AMOREPACIFIC will offer all products and services which customers want, and provide them with values of high level that it will accomplish its liabilities in contribution to healthy and beautiful life of customers. It is our purpose that we develop new engine of growth based on core capability in order not to satisfy with the present position of No. 1 in domestic market, but to be a constantly growing enterprise. To accomplish this purpose, we are going to extend cosmetics into beauty business, and integrate green teas, health food and beauty food into health and beauty food business. In concrete words, we will head for Total Beauty as Beauty Business Vision. With realization of “Growth of entering into Top 10 Cosmetic Company in the world with rearing of 10 mega brands” we are going to achieve 4 billion dollars of sales in Beauty business including over 30% of overseas sales. Health business pursues our lifetime Health. With “Development as a leading company in the field of health and beauty food with rearing of 3 mega brands” we are going to achieve one trillion of sales in Health and Beauty Food business including over 20% of company sales. President Kyung Bae Seo of AMOREPACIFIC mentioned at the Vision Proclamation Ceremony that “within next 5 years Asian cities like Honking, Shanghai and Singapore will be closer for us to activate as Busan and Daegu at present, within next 10 years major cities in the world will be our stage of business.” He added that “Let us leap into a superior enterprise equipping with 21 century’s global competitive power in which all employees get full of conceit and passion for it.”
