Life Cycle Assessment
Amorepacific is undergoing a pivotal transition in response to growing consumer interest in sustainability and product-level environmental responsibility. To address this shift, we are conducting comprehensive assessments of environmental impacts arising throughout the entire product life cycle―from raw material extraction and production to distribution, use, and end-of-life disposal. These assessments cover 16 environmental impact categories, including the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF), and are aligned with international standards such as ISO 14040, 14044, and 14067 to ensure global credibility.
In 2024, Amorepacific carried out assessments for key brand products and plans to expand these evaluations to all brands, further refine its methodology, and improve consistency across assessments.
