Amorepacific Group launched the "LESS PLASTIC. WE ARE FANTASTIC!" campaign to promise group-wide plastic reduction and solve plastic issues together with customers and various stakeholders.
LESS PLASTIC. WE ARE FANTASTIC Campaign
The "LESS PLASTIC. WE ARE FANTASTIC" campaign creates new changes in how plastic products are made, purchased, used, and disposed of beyond the existing 4R (Reduce, Recycle, Reuse, Return) activities. In addition to "AMORE:CYCLE" for collecting cosmetic containers, we are also operating programs to discover solutions for plastic issues through collaboration with FANTASTIC CREW, social enterprises, and social ventures, as well as improving plastic awareness and practice among employees.


AMORE:CYCLE
In January 2024, Amorepacific launched "AMORE:CYCLE," an online and offline container collection service that leads plastic reduction activities. AMORE:CYCLE expands the offline container collection that has been ongoing since 2009 to online platforms, allowing customers to request container collection on Amore Mall(in Korea). This resulted in a door-to-door cosmetic container collection service.
AMORE:CYCLE significantly expanded its collection items to increase the proportion of actually recycled plastic. In addition to previously collected plastic and glass cosmetic containers, it now includes household items such as hair, body, hand care products, makeup items like cushions and compacts, and even fragrances.
