Vegan Meterial Technology
Amorepacific is continuously developing and advancing technologies to replace animal-derived ingredients.
Amorepacific has maintained a stringent standard for safety and quality, exceeding various legal regulations both domestically and internationally. We have used only a very small portion of animal-derived ingredients that have been verified for safety, quality, and ethical compliance. However, we have successfully developed technologies to replace even these few animal-derived ingredients and continue to actively develop and expand our portfolio of vegan alternatives. For instance, we have successfully obtained squalene, previously derived from fish sources, from plant-based sources such as olives. We have also utilized bioengineering techniques to create collagen-like substances with the same efficacy as fish collagen. These examples demonstrate our commitment to scientific innovation and our continuous efforts to develop and expand the use of vegan materials in delivering valuable beauty to the world while upholding the principles of sustainability and ethical practices.
