QWhat is your most unforgettable moment while working at Amorepacific?
I have collaborated with many overseas subsidiaries as I am part of the Global Commercial Team. The event I find most significant is the 'GLOBAL SUMMIT' held at the HQ, where brand members from all overseas offices attend. During the event, we present our brand direction and strategies for the future and introduce new products. We also arrange tours to understand cultures from different countries. As the GLOBAL SUMMIT is held annually, I feel a strong bond and close partnership between the HQ and overseas offices. Additionally, there are various collaborations with global brands.
QPlease describe the work culture at the Amorepacific Seoul Office in one word.
It would be diversity. I have learned the value of diversity through working with colleagues who have different cultural backgrounds and expertise. I have worked with colleagues from Asia, North America, Europe, and other regions, including global interns and those relocated on a short-term basis to experience the New Beauty of Amorepacific. Moreover, members from various fields, such as researchers, marketers, digital creators, and makeup artists, collaborate with one another. We respect diversity, and our company offers many programs to keep employees motivated.
QDo you have any advice for future Amorepacific applicants?
I believe it is more important to understand your motivation for working in the beauty industry, rather than focusing on whether Amorepacific is a good fit for you. Once you join the company, you can find a suitable role or place, as there will be many opportunities to work in different countries and roles. However, the foundation of the beauty industry—the creation of beauty—remains unchanged. Therefore, it would be important to compare your vocation with our company's mission to make a more beautiful world.

QPlease describe your role at Amorepacific.
I work on the Amazon team, managing Amazon's e-commerce channel to expand our global markets. While I participate in designing on-site marketing and successful strategies on Amazon, I am also actively working on off-site marketing due to our relatively lower brand awareness in North America. My ultimate responsibility is to attract new and existing customers to our brand's product page on Amazon.
QWhat is the most memorable project you worked on at the Amorepacific Seoul Office?
I remember a major campaign for Amazon Prime Day, which is the most important day for us. Our team worked hard to analyze global market trends and competitors during the project. We held meetings with our U.S. office and sought opinions from local major media and editors in the beauty industry to deeply understand customer demands. Thanks to close collaborations with specialists from around the world, and the insights we gained, we achieved remarkable results in raising brand awareness and customer engagement. Witnessing the growth of both the company and myself during that time made me happy and proud.
QWhat do you find most interesting about working at Amorepacific?
I would say my fantastic colleagues and our open communication. They are genuinely immersed in their work and are always the best supporters. Having open conversations with them is highly effective in finding innovative solutions, transcending the cultural boundary within our organizations. These elements always inspire me to achieve the best results. Communication with global marketers in our overseas offices is another source of inspiration for me and serves as a growth factor for both the company and myself. The smart, inspiring team members and an internal culture that celebrates mutual respect are the greatest strengths of our company.

QPlease describe your role at Amorepacific.
I am in charge of delivering messages that reflect the brand's core values and products while communicating with our 13 subsidiaries, including those in the United States, China, Thailand, etc. Our team distributes communication guides in Korean and English for new product promotions and conducts offline events such as product launches. We collaborate with experts to examine our media plans for each country, refine them, and explore new opportunities through communication with international media teams, based on the unique properties of each country's platforms.

Our work culture is based on mutual respect. The manufacturing business involves complex interests because numerous teams and intricate processes are related. However, at Amorepacific, we respect each other's ideas and share opinions to come to a conclusion, rather than insisting on a single point of view. We freely express our thoughts, regardless of positions or years of experience, and actively listen to others when making decisions.
